Just wondering as I have never smoked one of these.

They are the best cigars money can buy!

Assuming you've only got $3, then yes Jamie, best that amount of money can buy. LOL

Thanks, Delta1... You are certainly right, as well smokensip...I am 86 and have never had one yet. I will try some from here. I recently was enlightened about cigar bid by my son. you only live once! I will keep them on my radar, better yet.....
Maybe he will get me a fiver.😉

Which ones do you guys suggest?

I haven't met a Graycliff yet that I've cared for.

That having been said, I'm not the type to buy three boxes before deciding I don't like something. I've probably only had a half dozen or so in my life, all of them gifted or traded.

i like to start every morning with a double espresso. they are my favorite, current production cigar. i think the rest of the graycliff line suck

Double Espresso is a fine cigar. The only other that I care for is the Crystal - little mild for regular rotation, but nice smooth and creamy change of pace once in a while.

I have only had the espresso line and blue label. I liked both but I got the blue label at auction price and the espressos were all gifts.

Overrated, yes by there own sales pitch but still a decent smoke imo for the right number.

Never have tripped my trigger, but there are cigars I like that others discount. Try 'em, if you like 'em, smoke the hayelll out of 'em.

I have 4 varieties and have smoked 2 of those. I was not impressed and wouldn't buy them again. Have also heard what dstieger said, so I might try those 2 if the price is right sometime.

Aren't these kinda like Gurkha's?
How many different lines do they have?
Was gifted one with Espresso in the name, but aren't there a couple different ones with Espresso in the name? Decent - mild to medium at best. Simple with little complexity.

my tastes for Graycliffs match dstieger's. I also enjoy the Double Espresso and the Crystals (not the 80th Avelino Lara).

If you like mild the pirate g2 is great, it lines up with fonseca 5-50. I am a breakfast and coffee cigar smoker so I am very happy with a simple cedar and nuts profile with very little punch. I just purchased the 30 yr graycliff and will try one soon. BTW, since your posting on cigarbid.com, you are likely bidding and buying on this site and you will never overpay for a graycliff on this site.

This is correct.

Graycliffs would need to be rated well before being over-rated. They are a mediocre cigar. Never had one I liked.

At least I found or two decent Gurkhas.

The Graycliff espresso line (the double espresso that's referenced herein is a size within a line, not a cigar line in itself) is a great smoke, in my very humble opinion.
