Cuban cigars - we all love them - but they're hard to get here in the states.

I have a (female) cousin that's in Switzerland right now and has agreed to bring me back a couple of boxes w:d/ . Are there any pointers I could give her to make sure she's not ripped off with a a couple of boxes full of fugazis (Donnie Brasco reference for all of the senior citizens on this thread =p~ )?

Also, has anybody ever bought Cubans from an online retailer? If so, what was your experience? Any online retailers you could recommend?

Oh, and if I've broken any rules, I apologize and will be happy to take down the post. ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

Lol just kidding you man. If they have either of those, that would be two I would recommend you getting for sure though.

PSD4's or PSP2's would be my next choices.

The legality issue isn't buying them in the states. There is a BAN on CC's in the states. If she takes them to the plane, she won't make it past customs. I don't recommend even thinking about bringing Cuban's to the states unless you want some HUGE fines and possible jail time for just possession of them...

When coming into a US airport, you will encounter the US Customs & Border Protection first. They can seize your cigars, arrest you, or both. You won't even encounter TSA unless you are connecting to a domestic flight and they won't seize any cigars because cigars are not prohibited in carry-on luggage.

Wait, we're talking about CIGARS?!?!?!

I thought when the OP mentioned "sticks" he was bringing hockey equipment back from Cuba. It is a world class hockey power, right?

Sheesh I'm such a N00b!

ummm, actually no. . .

If it was produced in cuba, whether it is cigars, alcohol, or hockey equipment, it is illegal for an American to own.
