Are these sticks on this site legit or just relabels? I have read in other reviews that CI and CB relabel mediocre smokes with the Graycliff band with permission from the factory????? True/false? Thanks!

Look around and see if you can get this cigar anywhere else. Be aware there is another company that shares the same address as CI but they say is not affiliated with them. They just happen to carry the same inventory. Other than these 2 places and Cbid, I couldn't find this cigar available anywhere else. You do the math. Are they bad smokes? Don't know....are they rolled at Graycliff in the Bahamas? Don't know. Do I trust CI/CBID anymore?

Nope

That isn't to say that CI doesn't have some great in-house smokes...they do. I just don't want to pay a name brand price for a mediocre cigar or, WORSE YET, buy a cigar that I KNOW I like when I've bought it elsewhere and have it be nothing like it was when it comes from CI. We used to joke on here about "internet cigars" and how some people would scoff at buying from here because they weren't the same cigars. Not anymore.

Oh well.....

I have or had a Graycliff platinum presidente. If I smoked it it was a best mediocre as I have yet to smoke a good Graycliff.

The crystal is the only one I've liked. It's $22 bucks apiece at my local. Cbids add says rolled in the graycliff tabacerea, in the Bahamas. None of the other adds or descriptions say that to my knowledge.

On an unrelated note, how long before cbid shuts down the forum if its worst advertisement comes from within it? Just wondering.

I like graycliff cigars. I don't smoke them anymore, but when I was buying from here every week they were all I was buying. The Platinum robusto was great a couple years ago. The crystal LE from 3 years ago was very good at 3$ a stick. I no longer smoke this type of cigar but I would not discourage anyone from trying all , but the 1666. That one is not good.

Stay with me on this. Twelve rollers at the factory in the Bahamas. Rolling maybe 100 cigars a day comes out to 1200 cigars produced there each day. CBid sells at least 300 assorted Graycliff sticks a day. In fact there are about 400 sticks up for bid right now.

What do you think?

They can roll that each(100) in an hour.

Based on the quality of a couple I got off FF, I'm thinking you're correct.

I was just starting to profile a graycliff 30 yr for another poster. I looked up ci's profile and they quoted a 3 country blend with a san andreas binder. Another internet cigar co. profiled their graycliff 30 yr as a 4 country blend with a jalapan binder and added a brazillian filler . The labels would indicate apples for apples but the product description indicates apples for oranges. Is this a recurring theme at cbid with other brands as well?

.....Graycliff G2 labels are made by C.I.. If G2 if not on the label then they are supposed to be made in the Bahamas. If you are looking for a good Habano wrapped smoke at a decent price buy some Nicaragua Ligero Laced 2nds Liga 'F' by Oliva, the only '2nd' or 'Overrun' I have ever enjoyed

.....They are ten times better they Graycliff Platinum after a few months of naked aging. In fact they are as good or better then Black Crown, Cult, Nico Puro, Ave Maria, Trocadero, High Primings, AB Harvest Select, Torano Salutem, or Oliva Saison.
