Mine as well...like a 50/50 depending on my funds.

It looks killer and the options for the trips are phenomenal.

Nice! That's a slow time of year for me. I might have to do that one. Is it like the Cigar Safari?

Based on experience I would recommend doing:

La Aurora
Fuente
Davdioff
LFD

The Gran Almirante has a nice pool bar on the roof, overpriced food at one place on site, a dinky casino and beer 4x what you can find it on the street ($4 350ml v. $2 for a 750ml Presdente). The hotel is over priced for what it is and would basically pass for a 2.5 in the US but charging 4 star prices (for the DR) thanks to the casino ($140 + taxes IIRC). Skip the Puerto Plata trip and do it next time when you are there as a tourist. Looks like the staff have you covered for dinner.

Word of advice:
Your in the Carribean so island time is a common thing. Make sure if you want a good room to make a bee line for the front desk (same thing goes for check out) otherwise you could spend a long time waiting in line.

Also skip the duty free on your way out unless you just have to get something. Local prices tend to be less expensive for most items (and don't forget to haggle).

If you go have fun and enjoy yourself. Ought to be some interesting charity items at the final dinner.

Thanks for the advice! Have you been before? Or did you just go as a tourist?

I've been to the DR more than a few times. Gone on tours and as just vacation. Stayed at the GA earlier this year. Staff is nice just nor real good with crowds which is odd since its a popular spot for this sort of thing.

Never been to ProCigar.
