The smoker cloaker actually DOES work. Of course the missus claims she can still smell smoke, but she's full of crap. If I hadn't have told her I did it she never would have known.

The spare bedroom is my new smoker's lounge.

The payer of the mortgage has spoken!

My smoking room is my rental studio that is currently full of our crap as a storage unit. My wife has "requested" I not smoke in there as there are clothes and furniture and such. I think you can see where this is going...

So, of course I do. I use a fan blowing in the window and a fan blowing out the door with my ashtray behind it. Most of the smoke goes out the door, but not all. I can smell it pretty well afterwords.

But after a day's worth of cloaking, she can't smell it and she is EXTREMELY sensitive to smell.

LOL @ Macs... Payer of Morgtage LMAO!!!!

we've got a 15 yr old still at home... she's a pickle... and when she's staying over with a friend... I'll smoke in the house... she's got allergies and breathing problems... anyways sometimes when she throws a fit about doing dishes etc.. I point out....

King (me) Queen (Mom) Castle (house) Maid (her) LMAO!!!!!!!! She really gets to ranting then!!!!

"Threadjack On"

btw she just made Honor Roll and I'm so damn proud of her.. I just don't let her know it too much... her head would swell and she'd get cought in the ceiling fan... next months her 16th bd and I've been letting her drive a bit here and there to get her 25 hrs in... I've got an old 87 Merc (my son is borrowing right now) but I tell her this is her car, our insurance person has it listed as such also and I pointed this out to her.. she went through the roof with rants LMAO!!!! and it was actually cheaper to have her as driver on this one then the Truck..But we paid the first 6 months (as we have for all the kids) and I told her, She'll have to find a job and keep the payments afterwards... she scuffed at me now, because her Daddy is going to give her his (recently)wrecked truck and pay her insurance.. The Mrs. and I know this is a pipe dream as everything else has been from her dad's promisses... he doesn't even pay child support until he's tracked down and risks losing his drivers liscense and then he'll make a payment or two and quite that job and the process starts all over again...

Damn Shame...but the bottom line... I'm the hard ass and so be it... when she graduates with high honors and heads out into that world of unknown... I'll know she's doing it with her head up and have the Mrs. and I cheering her on all the way!!!!

btw her nickname for me is Hitler... LMAO!!

LOL. Hog, I just showed that to my 13 yr old. Me the Queen--her the maid. She thought it was funny but of course it didn't get her to do anything. She just laughed and walked away. Now, if I can just get her to clean up after HERSELF, I wouldn't even care if she cleaned the rest of the house.

I read what your saying Hog, but in my case:

Me King = Me Maid, but My Castle!!!

No Queen to live in my castle to train a maid, LOL!

I feel your pain Knof.. I was never going to get married again... I'm glad this discussion with God in my bathroom resulted to where I am at today... I was/had been setting my life up (bought a house 2 bedroom, 925 sq ft living space with full basement) to be a bachlor for the rest of my existance on the face of this earth... Prior to meeting Mrs. Hog... GF's etc. were told.. Hog = King, House (Castle) and GF = Maid if they did not have a place of their own or was moving in more **** like they were going to set up home here... LOL it worked for along time I might add!!! But as I said this was all before Mrs. Hog came along and somehow She and God revamped my plans... to which I am Thankful for and would never look back... so I had to add in the Queen part and thus the above was born LMAO!!!!

BUT Macs statement is a Classic also

"The payer of the mortgage has spoken!"

I Love IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO!!!!!

Nah... Trish told me the smoker cloaker would work. All hail Trish... the knower of all things cigar related!! Hehehehe

In all seriousness though, good call Trish.

I'm about to jack my own thread so those who may get offended look away please... hehehe.

Hey Hog, the boy just got his first check from work today and promptly deposited it in the bank, via the ATM, with his ATM card number on the envelope, instead of his account number!!! D'OH!

He was pissed because it was only $180 for 32 hours. I told him welcome to the world of taxpayers boy, now go fill up the gas tank in the truck.

I use the computer room for my in-house smoken; the missus has just come to accept it. Do it long enough and you will wear her down. :o) I wear the pants in my family (even if they are pink!)

Threadjack on:

Mrs. Usahog,

IMHO it would be a good thing to show your daughter Hog's remarks. She will still kick and scream and call him Hitler but it will be stored away in her gray matter. Hopefully, at the right time, she'll remember what he wrote and it will make a world of difference.

Happy Easter.

toby smokes cigarettes, i smoke cigars. people that visit me say my house smells like smoke.

have you ever noticed the smell of people that do not smoke at all, no cigarettes, no cigars, no pipe. i find they have a rancid, spoiled meat kind of smell and i try to avoid contact with them.

sometimes one of "them" will approach me with some nasty remark about my cigar. lately i have suggested they please either move away or use some deoderant

i have 4 birds who are unaffected by any of the smoke in the house and they are sensitive to bad air. remember the canary in the cage i the coal mines.

sheba, the poodle doesn't smell like smoke, but my neighbor who doesn't want to fix our fence has two poms that visit me every day. he once complained that his dog smelled like smoke, and he once told me standing close to him made him sick.

standing close to him or listening to him talk makes me sick. he still hasn't fixed the fence that we have been talking about for 8 years.

today his wife came to ask me how the poms were getting out of my yard into the street. huh!

as far as cigars, i don't eat in restaurants any longer because they do't like cigars. fair enough.

in vegas the only place i will eat and not smoke a cigar is the coffee shop at the tropicana because they make the best chinese food i have ever had. when i am done and toby is lighting her cig, i leave and walk to the coffee place and sit at the bar section that faces the casino and have coffee and a cigar without being bothered by non smokers.

I am hoping to set Tank up with something a bit warmer than the garage before next winter. I will have to look into the cloaker.

Thanks for the info...

Bucephalus - it is the 'Pro" model and cleans up to 5000 square feet. And yes, it is kinda small, but it does indeed work.

Rick - I smoke cigars, but I don't want my house to smell like them. If you do, good on you. I don't, so I got a cloaker.

Thanks MAC, but its hardly "all things cigar related" but when it comes to getting THAT smell out of my house, I do try!! LOL

No one smoke in the house at all - EVER - until I got the Super Smoker Cloaker. No smell in the furniture either. I love it!
