Purios Indios? Can't think of many bands I haven't sampled over the years, but this is one of them.
Mother ship has them for a little over a buck a stick and of course they're "rated 91".

I know a very rich guy who smokes nothing but..... maybe that's why he's wealthy and I'm cigar poor!

Do you like the taste of grass clippings and hay? If so, you may like them. I tried to smok one, once. I think I got a whole half inch in, before tossing it.

Might as well roll up some grass clippings myself cause the only time I'd smoke em would be while mowing..... Come to think of it, I even have some dog poop in my yard! Might be perfect!

Saw that this morning. Rated 91? By whom? That said, about 25 years ago, PI was a decent cigar.

Grassy flavor, in a bad way. Nauseating. Dog rocket.

The only one I ever smoked was a presidente. It wasn't quite a throw out, but it was soft and barely palatable.

How bad are they? pretty bad.

Long time ago, Cuba Aliados used to be a decent cigar by Rolando Reyes. I smoked a number of them at various times and they were a nice cigar.

So, Cuba Aliados went off the market, supposedly replaced by Puros Indios even better, read several rave puff pieces, eventually several years later bought some on sale.

They were pieces of Dog poo. Couldn't give the damn things away. Can't remember what I did with them, but I remember the clear joy of their departure. I doubt I will ever buy another Reyes product.

Now Cuba Aliados is back. The several examples of them I have smoked sucked donkey organs.

Stay away.

The rich guy that smokes nothing but either has no taste, smell or has never had a decent cigar.

Better yet, buy some and do a real review.

Siht, I would probably kick in to buy some and send them to magwitch if he would do a review!

The only Rolando Reyes product I've smoked is the Pirates Gold a number of years ago after seeing a number of posters indicate it was a decent budget smoke. All I recall is the taste of sour milk and grass. Saw on another board thereafter a blind review that included several Reyes lines, the reviewer mentioned those same flavors on ever one of the Reyes sticks...

Sven will be along shortly to remind us all that they are one of CI's biggest sellers. Doesn't say too much for CI's customer base.
