Ya, I know - just looking to see if anyone has any info on Cult selling out their label, if it was made by them or just banded by CI

I thought they have them on cbid just about every week. Pretty darn good flavorful cigar IMHO.

I agree - I had one and enjoyed it, so I did some looking at their site - there is no 5.5 X 55 listed there so that's what got me wondering if maybe they do these for CI, or if CI does them and just uses their bands. Not a bad smoke, just wondering about the origin of this 5.5 X 55.

Here's a portion of the reply I got from Customer Service back in February regarding some Gurkhas I wanted to cancel when I couldn't find them on the Gurkha website:

"Thank you for contacting Cigar Bid. Like many other industries, we license the name with the manufacturer and have a cigar manufacturer make a product where we use that name of the cigar and the cigar size. Certain cigars are also manufactured for us per contract with the manufacturer."

To me it translated to: "Buyer beware."

Thanks Bro - kinda what I thought - again, not a bad smoke, guess I need to get some that are listed on the site and do a compare - maybe hop over to Fort Collins next time I'm heading up to my brothers house in Greeley. There is a B&M there that carries them.

Michael Giordano is a friend and he told me that the 5.5 x 55 box press was made especially for CI, at CI's request.. CI says it is their best selling size.
They have a new stick that debuted at this year's IPCPR trade show called "Profile." It is an excellent cigar.

Mike supplies just about every online store with their cigar accessories: humidors, Stinky ashtray, etc.
I just checked CI and Cbid and there are plenty of sticks to go around.
I reviewed all of his stock. And my advice is to let them sleep for a couple months and you will get the best out of them.
