I'm trying to find out about a cigar that was given to me. I was humidor diving today and a came across Churchill sized smoke that I'm unable find in information about.

It has a label that says 2008. It's a 7 inch long 46 ring gauge with a medium-brown to brownish-red colored wrapper.

Thanks in a advance.

The 09 is better but that's an awesome stick.

I was gonna send it out on a "fiver" but I didn't know what it was. Hmmmm.... It appears that I have a little gem that needs to bed back down for another year or so.

Thanks for the heads up.

I did a little search and see that there are many others who share those sentiments.

Besides, the tobacco is grown in the same proximity as that of Oliva, JDN, Padron and DE. Should be a fine smoke.

I just picked up the La Verite 2008 in a box pass and left a 2009 in it's place. The '08 was the first year Pete did these but the '09 was just a better year for tobaccy IMO. Both are wonderful smokes.
