If someone shoots a mime, does it make a sound?

I'm a little daffy due to lack of sleep, but this question has dogged me for minutes. Just like everybody else, I'm looking for closure.

A mime is a terrible thing to Waste.

Loved in Guards, Guards, when Vimes was holding one of those little dragons like a gun, and quoting Dirty Harry . . .

I think the mime would stumble around a bit, then act as if it is angry and pretend that it is pulling the bullet out before choking on its own blood and dying.

If a mime falls in the forest,

You'd have to use "invisible box" penetrating ammo.

When it comes to mimes I prefer teflon coated hollow points.
