The ones I get in the glass topped boxes are!! I don't buy the cheap ones you guys buy. These are the Kohiba and Monty Crisco......the good ones.

Couldn't tell if this was sarcastic.

Be careful with the seran wrap. The static can pull the wrapper when unwrapping, and it doesn't breathe as well as cigar cellophane. Seran wrap may cause more mold. They both may be named 'cellophane' but they are two different materials. Kitchen cellophane could be used in a pinch to wrap/protect and transport bare cigars (like a shrink-wrap) but I wouldn't recommend it for long-term storage. Remember they're cigars, not beef wrapped for the freezer.

Good luck

Slight threadjack: I recently opened up a cabinet of Tatuaje Petite Tatuaje Reservas and the bundle was wrapped in material closely resembling wax paper(!). Or is it something else? I just left them as is (...until I can find some red, green or gold foil... [sarcasm] )

Oh, so is my real question wax on? Wax off?

(...sorry, hadda do it... 😣 )

Wax on for sure. Everything gets too slippery without it.

IIRC those are a closed foot. As a result of the closed foot some leaf may break off the foot. You can take those pieces, combine with some native leaf, and roll in the paper that wrapped the original bundle.

Youre right about the cellophane it doenst breath as well and it gives them a funny taste when you light one. Also keeps the magic plume beetles from getting out. I have recently switched to unlubricated name brand condoms.
