One of the worst cigars I ever smoked, so nasty that I think it messed up my palate.

Try watching the "quickies" - especially during the week. Usually some really good things in there that don't get noticed.

Shhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

😰 Oops, I meant always go for the big name 5-packs on Saturday...
Shhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
Yep, this place has deals you just gotta find em and not go nuts bidding. It takes some work and is like a game to me. My wife asks why I look at this all the time and I asked her why she plays candy crush game all the time.

Cigar bid is actually saving me money. I walked into the local discount cig shop yesterday and bought 1 stick for $7. I looked at their prices and just couldn't do it anymore. I figure I can find em on here for a good deal eventually.

Yep triples about right

I would support my local more than I do if they would stock something smaller than a 50 ring gauge.

Every time when I go to an event and buy one of the smallest RG's they have - I am reminded of why I went to smaller stuff.

Last time I went, they did have a lancero. Nice one, too.

Ask what they have in a small ring gauge and the clerk starts looking for 50/52, say smaller than that and then he looks at you like "say whaa?"

I'd be more willing to support the local,if I got service like I did at Cigars Etc. in Wichita, Ks. There the tabacconist waited on me and offered some great suggestions, a cigar sales rep was there at the time and gave me a la aroma de Cuba mi amor. I can't wait to go back.

At the local B&M they specialize in empty boxes that have been empty for months and barely speaking English.
I've seen the seconds around ALOT just never thought to try them. I guess they may be worth a shot, anyone else give a stab at these?
I gotta say of the many seconds/overruns I've tried, the best has been the AJ Fernandez overruns. The last two bundles I got (you don't get much say so, apart from general size/vitola) were La Herencia Cubana CORE robustos. Smoked perfectly - cheapest I got was I believe just under $25 for 15. Me like.

Second to those were the Nicaraguan 90+ Rated 2nds - perhaps not AJ (perhaps so?), but decent nontheless.

^ believe those be olivas

Hmm once the wife quits threatening to leave me if I order more ceegars, I will look into them overruns.
^ believe those be olivas
Yup - you believe correct, sir. I was mistaken. I had the ligero-laced 2nds, the Fs and the Hs, which I understand to be Cain seconds - preferred the latter.
arrgghhh!!!!
that cigar has pizzed me off more than any other, by far!
It's the sole reason I refuse to buy any Padilla products anymore....(fortunately I have a good stash of old Series 68, 1932s and 1948s.........and when they're gone.....I'm done with Padilla)
This is a typical Padilla Miami fiver....(any vitola):

ya smoke one.....dang that's good!
the next one......what the hell is this turd!!!
the next one.....taste is kinda meh, but won't burn/draw worth crap....
the next one........oh goody!!...it tastes good!!....for an inch..........then turns to sheet
the last one in the fiver................dang that's good!!

no thanks......makes me friggin crazy........

😂
Yep - that's it! The old DPG-produced sticks were great - had a lovely, rounded syrupy quality to them. Then DPG gave Padilla the boot because he was apparently getting too grabby and demanding. Then, the Padilla sticks went downhill. Then, I haven't bought one since 2010.

Oh, wow, all new Padilla lines?😝 F Padilla!
