wanted to pull the trigger on some. I'm a medium strength, not too much leather or spice type of smoker but love the maduro edge version. how do these size up for my preferences and also compared to the maduro?

Depends on the cost but for a mid-range cigar go ahead & pull the trigger. Nice little spicy flavor (oops- just reread your post).

im my opinion the habano version is the best, i used to love the maduro for its flavor and its strength, but when i tryed the habano i wont even look at the maduro anymore..i suggest picking up a few to try..sumatra i did not care for...it just did not have the full body that i love in the edge

The OR Edge Sumatra from back in 07 or 08 were phenomenal.I burned thru plenty of them.This newest release is meh at best.

In the old days they were great i have so many i don't need them now but the real gem in that line is the Corojo , simply one of the 5 tastiest cigars i ever smoked and i smoked alot of them..
