I'm drinking Karl Stauss' "Endless Summer Gold".

This is a damn good microbrew!

Holy Shizzit!

Oh yeah... Had a PSD #4 at the new Irish Pub about 2 blocks from my house and my buddy smoked a Juan Lopez #2.

There were a coupla rookies suckin' on some Maca-doodoos... they asked what we were smokin' and we got the blank stares when we told 'em.

Happy puffin' this weekend my bruthas and sistas!

That should read: Karl Strauss. I can spell.

I'm just about 2 pints of Boddington's and 6 Karl Strauss' down... forgive me.

Senior, I have a PSD #4 that gifted to me my Blacky on a trade earlier this year resting in the humi. Looking forward to lighting her up after she sleeps awhile. I have heard nothing but great things about them.

Tonight's smoke was a Monte #2 ISOM I picked up in Prague last year. Very nice.

aren't you in california? how did you have a cigar in an Irish Pub...or was there an outdoor section? If you ahve an indooor bar that lets you light up...good for you. They are getting very rare around these parts (I still have two local bars that allow smoking, but they don't take kindly to cigars)

Did somebody say beer?

Hey Shawn,

I haven't had the Karl Strauss yet but I'll definitely have to try to get some. If you like the Boddingtons try the Abbot Ale.

Just a small thread jack...I picked up a cab of the PL PC's. What a great smoke...as a matter of fact I think I'll go smoke on now!!

Yeah Julian, the PL PC's are VERY good. I still got about 35 or so from my cab.

The Pub in question is a very nice joint called Killarney's Irish Bar and Grill. Guinness on tap, Boddington's on tap, Stell Artois, Newcastle... etc.

Very nice place. It opened up about 2 weeks ago and by 6pm the place was packed. It IS Kookifornia, so NO we wern't smoking inside. They have a patio with the propane heaters and all... not that we needed them this time of year 🙂

I'm not much of a beer drinker, but I do like Red Hook. However, give me a burbon & 7 or rye & ginger anytime! Along with a good stick of course.

here is the description of the beer I will be enjoying tonight....Arrogant **** Ale:

"This is an agressive beer. You probably won't like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to be able to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth. We would suggest that you stick to safer and more familiar territory---maybe something with a multi-million dollar ad campaign aimed at convincing you its made in a little brewery, or one the implies their tasteless fizzy yellow beer will give you more sex appeal. Perhaps you think multi-million dollar ad campaigns make a beer taste better. Perhaps you're mouthin your words as you read this."

One of my all-time favorites and just right to kick off the evening. After that, I am switching to Mirror Pond Pale Ale, and then to my favorite dark beer, Black Butte Porter....throw in some cards, poker chips, some of my friends money, and a few good sticks, and this is shaping up to be a fine evening.

I am drinking my homemade rootbeer this evening, about 4.5% by volume, along with a Cuaba generoso. I believe this came from chipslave, Thanks Brother, I think I know what I will be picking up soon. LOL But I have to pick up the box of Anejo #49s, my local has set back for me, before I can buy Darkside again.

Oh Yeah, back to the rootbeer. I have it running through a pressure tap, so it has a Guinness style head. I also make a nonalcoholic version, but I needed a buzz tonight. lol

Ya'll have a great evening.

Hey lukin, i've had arrogant ****. It's pretty good, but if you like that you gotta try STONE Pale Ale.

Brewed locally in San Diego, it is a really good beer.

Stay away from Double **** Ale!! I drank three of these and I was slurring my words. I love Arrogant **** and all of Stone Brewing Company's products. Have a good one.
