I'll be honest, I don't even remember what I sent Carl... but what I know for sure is that he went CRAZY on his end... once I find out what's been working for him out there I'll be firing off a little something that still won't even come close to evening this thing out... here's the damage:

Carl, you get a chance to pitch that 8" squid at all? I just talked to my guy this morning and I'm getting a few more 10" in at a more decent price... it's almost twice the weight of the 8"... if the 8" will get you a dolphin, the 10" will probably get you whatever eats him... yellowfin maybe? you guys get those out there?

be about a month before i go down south and fish out of palm beach for muttons. yeah we get yellow and black fin down there. that 8" is about all my 5000 spinning reel will handle ( i keep it rigged and ready to use as a pitch bait when dolphin or cobia are around), but i will be seeing some guys who swordfish and see if they have seen the gulp squids yet
