I don't buy cigars because of the bands but I do think some are cool and can add some fun to the smoking experience. I was interested in the Norteno even though I have never tried the Herreri Esteli yet. Then the other day I saw the band on the cigar and I thought man that looks familiar. So I looked some pics up on the interwebs and sure enough it looks a ton like the RA extras band.

Now I won't buy them just because if you can't come up with your own idea for a band I really don't want to support your cause and I am sure they won't be anywhere near the budget smoke category.

Anyone else ever have an opinion good or bad on a cigar band they have seen.

Gurkha has nice bands.

Multiple Tatuaje bands are copies of defunct Cuban bands. Same with Viaje.

I don't understand it. Your name and band is the only thing that separates what cigar is what for the most part. There are unlimited possibilities to make an original band why take someone else's idea. I am not saying in this case they are doing it to be deceitful but there is something to be said about originality.

The AB Prensado is a great looking band. Cigar isn't bad either, when it actually burns.

Every time I see a gurkha, I wonder who thought to put Hitler on a cigar band.
Ave Maria has a cool band and they're a solid stick.

The bands on Ave Maria are gorgeous, they absolutely pop and you can't help but look at the detail once you can get the band off to nub them. Great stick to boot, bought a box and I like them.
