My wife is an OB nurse for a great physician. He volunteers/travels to various countries to provide medical services in small villages. During his last trip to the Honduras he grabbed a bundle of cigars from a small street vendor (approx 5 x 48). Like us he's a fan of hockey and dark brews, and knew I was into cigars. When I asked if they where rolled on the thigh of a hot Honduran woman, he laughingly replied “No, they where rolled by one of the elder women of the village, but she did have sweaty hands!”

At first I thought I should treat these like other fresh-rolled cigars (Johnny-O's) - smoke them now or let them sit for a year or so. They are gnarly looking (yeah they look like dog turds), but I am curious. The cigars feel solid - a firm roll throughout - no soft spots. Offering a light, earthy, slightly sweet aroma to the nose. Note the sugars developing on the left, but the odd light discoloration on the right? Maybe due to the sweaty hands LOL?

Those are definitely gnarly looking as you said but I would be curious like you also. Wonder if the sweat stains will taste salty lol?

I'd light one of those bad boys up... no point in aging them if they're unsmokeable...

Light one and freeze the other to kill the bugs.
