Last night was the official "last night" for my degree program. I had an organizational behavior final exam that I finished in about an hour and a half. It ends almost 4 years of intermittent schooling to finally finish my MS/M. To celebrate I broke out a CAO limited edition Millennium that was sold in 1999. It was in my cabinet for almost three years. A beautiful individually packaged, box pressed torpedo with a dark wrapper. To fully enjoy this fine cigar I grabbed the Crown Royal from the top shelf and headed outside to my preferred smoking location. Oh yeah, I took along a glass. Wouldn't want y'all to think I was unsophisticated. It was a really nice smoke that started out a little mild but about half way through, the flavor really grew. Now I'll have a lot more free time on my hands. I guess I'll have to order more cigars.

Thanks for the congrats. It's not easy working a full time job and going to school. I really feel good about getting it done. I've been taking night classes for almost ten years. I finished my undergrad program while I was still in the Air Force and managed to finish it before I retired. I started the masters program about 6 months after leaving the AF. Fortunately, my employer is paying my tuition. I just have to buy the books. Now I have to convince them to pay me more.

That shouldn't be too hard to do. I applaud anyone that betters themself. Especially on their time. I'm sure your boss(es) will take notice as well. Most don't like to let an "investment" slip quietly away. One word of caution is that in this rough economic time it might not be the wisest thing to "demand" a raise. Make yourself so valuable that they won't want to get rid of you. Enjoy, and good luck.

Hey Pentz, congrats man!...But you got it all wrong, it's not working 50+ hours a week and going to school 18 hours a week that is hard....It's finding time and money to buy cigars to smoke in between...LOL
