While visiting our folks in MI. over this past weekend I did some brush hogging on their tractor and low and behold ran over a ground bee nest....of course I didn't come to know this until I went back that direction and because of water laying and trees down I had NO choice but to go back the same way. I put the Ole John Deere in high gear and went for it....got stung only twice but the one in my bicep swelled pretty good but with some Benedryl it went down. Fast forward to Tues. back in Indianapolis and mowing my own yard and YES while mowing up close to our pines....I get stung twice again ( right pinky finger )and realize we also have a ground nest, woke this morn and low and behold my entire hand is swollen and it's made it's way half way up my forearm!! Rubbed some Benedryl cream on it and took two more Bene pills and hoping the swelling will Finally go down. Little Bastards!!!
