I'm ok with wiping a little mold off and smoking it. A little. If it's on the foot, I might clip it and see if there is any about a half inch in. If so, I'd toss it.

The picture in the quote you posted, Conan, I'd be ok with wiping that off the outside. It's white. Looking at the feet, it would depend, like I said above, on whether it really did get inside.
