Just curious. How does the 'date' part of the forum search work (Last 1 month, Last 3 months, etc)? Is the cutoff date from the "Last Post Date" or the "First Post Date"?

I see that we cant search past 18 months. I was wondering if periodically topping a thread keeps it from going past the 18 month cutoff.

We should still have the ability to search ALL posts, no matter how old.

If CBid is concerned about how long it takes to search the boards, they can add a drop down box or something so we can search by specific board, i.e. Pictures or Misc. This would shorten the search time.

I stand correctd, the link to the 2000' screen name thread was posted in a 2002' screen name thread.

So it looks like 18 months is the limit

The search function is based on the lead post (first post) within a thread.
