am a little concerned that i should rest my new stock

but the only good old stuff i got is the very light astral

is there some recomendations about resting the new stuff

how about one of these 8 year thingys or maybe next try the gurk platinum

Smoking one OTT (off the truck) is fine, but they have gone from being perfectly humidified in the warehouse to being in the back of a truck to now your front door. It is best to put them in your humidor to let the humidity in them stabilize. I would give a couple days, a week if you can spare. It's always good to be safe.
