Hey folks. Just got on the site last weekend. I was really happy to get a 5 pack of RP Vintage 92's and a Padron '64 Sup. Maduro for $38. That being said, I guess you could say I'm fairly new to all this. The Padron is easily my favorite stick thus far (still waiting to see how the mail order one turns out). RP 90 is my go to, I love the RP fifteenth, and I've dabbled around with Arturo Fuente among others.🇨🇮 So needless to say, I prefer medium-full bodied stick. Any advice on some reasonably priced winners would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks! Definitely gong to look into these. I've been tempted by the my father brand but never pulled the trigger. Guess ill have to!

Hey thanks! Glad to be here. Kind of stumbled across the site and had closed both bids by the end of the day. The Garcia's look tantalizing, but I'll show my true noob colors when I say I dont have a humidor. I have a temp that I cooked up myself, but only enough room for 5. QMPASH, I keep hearing good thingd about Gurkhas, but have avoided acid since my first encounter. Can't remember which one it was, but far too sweet. Thanks for the ideas!

Awesome! I don't know what it is though, I just kind of "jumped in the deep end" into maduro/oscuro (I know that doesn't necessarily indicate strength) but I've found most claro and natural wrapped sticks I've tried to be in general lacking...for lack of a better word.. in the tastes/spices I like. I'm wondering if it is a matter of developing my pallet more to understand the nuances better.

Buy up all the gurkhas you can, they're cheap, some are good, one or two are great and most are garbage...to me.

YOU may like all or none of them. Don't take anyone's word for it. Just try out what you can for now. You have to experience bad cigars to know what a good cigar is. Ramon Bueso Genesis the Project is also a great everyday cigar.

Go the coolidor route, I'm telling you, this will save time, money, and frustration.
Use beads (HF only), don't use kitty litter or beads from Amazon.
Definitely not pancakes, not waffles, these guys don't know what they're talking about, it's all about crepes.

As was said above - try as many as you can. Only you can decide if it's a good smoke or not.
A couple less expensive smokes I like you might enjoy - 5 Vegas AAA and A, La Herencia de Cuba Oscuro Fuerte.

Almost anything Oliva, Cain, or Studio Tobac (all same factory) are sure to satisfy, as a general rule.

Also anything out of the My Father factory, is amazing, as previously mentioned.

Most Tat's are great as well.

There are many more.

You will find your way, in time, but, until you have a safe place to store all of your cigars, you may be putting the cart before the horse, so to speak.

Don't jump "all in" and $hit, until you are ready, son.
