The Redskins have been my team since I was a kid. I've got a lot of stories & history with past teams. My Dad played college ball with Maxie Baughan, who Georhe Allen Traded 4 first round draft picks to get him from the Eagles to the Rams. Why Maxie is not in the hall of fame is beyond me. 9 time pro-bowl & his accolades just go on & on. When we lived outside of DC he used to come to my Jr. High football games & was besieged to sign autographs for my teammates after games. He used to come over about once a week for dinner & my dearly departed little brother used to charge the neighborhood kids 10 cents to see where Maxie sat & ate dinner with us. One of the last times I saw him, he gave me an autographed football that he passed around the locker room & the long list of names from that 1974 team is just incredible.

I hate the Cowboys. GO SKINS !!!

Sorry you hate Cowboys.

I love them Cowboys.

How 'bout that Ragin' Bull Demarco Murray? A freight engine for sure. Those 100 yard games are hard to beat 🙂... And Jason Witton teamed with ole Romo.

Think it will be a good second half - hope you enjoy.

Oh well, I kinda like the Redskins myself, try to follow them along with the Cowboys.

Someone needs to drop DeMarco like a failing Italian bank.

Looks like a good second half has started.

Redskins have a a lot of good talent - their defense is like running into a brick wall - and offense, well it's strong.

I think you have a good team to root for :)

Cowboys and Indians is an old rivalry, but Dallas is one of the newer teams having come into the NFL circa 1960...

drove the fledgling AFL team the Dallas Texans to Kansas City (Chiefs).

as a kid, I loved the Chiefs, especially under Stram (a fellow "member of the tribe" as I learned when I was older...I'll explain if anyone needs it). They were flashy and athletic, Stram was so creative and a true innovator (with the Saints, not so much).

just to threadjack even more, I have never been able to find proof of this, but I have a memeory of the Chiefs playing probably the Raiders in a key game in the late 60's or so. Stram had them come out in a "full house backfield", sort of a T formation, and I seem to think they never threw a pass all game...maybe a handful, but not many if any. Running backs might have included Robert "Tank" Holmes at fullback, not sure who else as I think it was before Ed Podolak. Pretty sure Lenny Dawson was still the QB but it's fuzzy at best. And in my memory KC won.

Got any help?
