Smoked a few of these babies I picked up on C-bid. At one time you couldn't find Padron on CI because they were pushing Nica's as equal to or superior to Padron. Not even close. They are damned good cigars though and the price, especially on c-bid makes them quite attractive. The only complaint I have against them is that their wrapper is too thin and delicate. That sometimes leads to the wrapper pealing off unexpectedly. Great taste and complexity. Cream, nuts and bitter chocolate with a touch of pepper. 🇨🇮

I never understood the comparison to a Padron.

If you want a Padron...buy a Padron.

Now, the Nica Libre is a nice yard cigar that if you have to put down you don't mind if you lose it.

+1 on the putting them down for awhile too.

I liked the one s I tried a couple years ago, I think AJ makes the stick. The Nica Libre Potencia was rolled at the Oliva factory and was hinted/rumoured to be a series V second.

Nica Libre One was doing it for me on a short buck. This one the wrapper can't keep up with the burn. I'll still grab one for a cheap thrill from time to time. High maintenance.
