Just seen these on cbid. They have got a good review or two. I love the JDN antano, which the red sound a lot more mild. Anyone have an opinion on these?

When the hype dies down a bit and the newness wears off, I'll definitely have to give this one a whirl.

are you talking the 1970, or the dark corojo (as far as the antano you like)?

I'll give them a try. Tthe Antano and the Dark Corojo are staples for me, and are definitely great bang for buck cigars. The Cabinetta, Fuerte and Rosalones were decent smokes too.

i tried a fiver... they were just meh... very mild, more like a breakfast smoke for me with cofee (or beer..yes in the AM)... Nothing to write home about for me...

I asked because, to me, the Dark Corojo and the 1970 are very different............and I like them both.

Although, the dark corojo has fallen several spots in my rotation. I don't like them much rott, or close to rott.............they need to sit a long while.
Like the dinkmeister said, the 1970 is ready to go in a few short months, and are very smooth on the retro, nice spices, but with a bit of a nic kick.

Wondering about these Rojos as well, but might have to wait a bit.
The Rosalones didn't do much for me, but I'm giving them a second chance in a few more months.
