Ashing the Partagas Short in the garage right now with a dilute glass of blended Scotch. live review on my phone.
Damn this is a tasty mild-medium smoke. First light: Very distinct CC flavors, a sweet creamy vanilla with dry cedar on retrohale, shortish finish that tapers to almost a citrus note at the end.
As it smokes down there's a bit of black pepper muting the cedar on retrohale and the sweet hay and vanilla has turned to nutty pecan cream flavors, this is the flavor I seek out in a cigar, the rich subtly sweet creamy flavor that reminds me of a ripe walnut or pecan. Ticking all the right boxes.
Perfect flavor, perfect texture, perfect size.
You were dead on good sir. Right smack dab in my wheelhouse. Thank you very much
