No offense taken, hinzna. If you're in the Christmas spirit, this may be an opportunity to show your vet how much you appreciate his generosity. Although every vet here is extremely generous when taking on a newb and do not expect anything in return, this is a good time for a newb to send his vet a little gesture (fiver) of appreciation. If you still have the spirit, or you got stuck with a crappy vet (not youngra, this is a generality) you can send some smokes to the troops oversaes via OpFTH.
Several of us have noticed that over the past couple of years, many newbs haven't stuck around long after getting a grand welcoming gift from a vet. Sending raok's is not expected, but contributing through participation and adding value by sharing opinions and experiences is.
