Considering leaving the job I love for one that is totally foreign to me.
Interview shortly.
I was really happy to come back and get my old job back.
But, that's just my situation.
I left a job that suits me well back in 2012. Went to a job that I had done before. Lots of changes since then. Didn't work out.

That's an angle I'm going to attempt to play. Trying to get all the pieces in place before I let them fall. I'd like to keep a foot in the door when I leave.
I can't discuss much detail for either place, my online posts are pretty easily found by anyone.
New place seems very promising, though I don't do change well.
My biggest fear is the change I'm looking to make is a one-way street unless I can manage to keep a foot in the door when I leave. I'll be leaving inpatient bedside critical care to work for an outside provider. Once you leave bedside, it's very difficult to get back in.
Well? Howd it go?

Interview went well. Info forwarded to local midlevel management for review and hopefully subsequent face to face interview. I've already met the district manager who was the one that planted the bug in my ear, so I hope we move forward. Wish me luck.
I'd love to work fairly normal hours again. Less than 50 would be wonderful.
Wishing you all the best.
