Just checked USPS Tracking. Something happened and delayed delivery date to Wed/tomorrow. It's at the local post office now. Sorry about the timing guys. I booked the fishing trip earlier this year, never dreamed there would be a conflict with a boxpass.

Wife just told me it landed today, unfortunately she told during visiting hours, good news is the PD says I can get out on personal recognizants. Bad news is we (wife and I) are going to her 3rd cousins 5th baptism, they're doing it by the van...down by the river. Jamie said he'd PP me $20 if I kept it out of circulation for 8 or more days. Anita said she would bring a Tat Reserva , RyJ Coronitas en Cedro and the the CyB Delta1 left for me, asked her to gather up my lanceros, number 'em and roll the dice twice to determine da putz. Hope this works well for yall.

My unlabed cigar is 5"x38 there about, has a light brown wrapper, smooth with only small veins showing. The cap is flat and appears to be triple capped. Prelight aroma is a musty grass. There are a few slightly hard spots in a firm overall roll. It seems familiar, is the same size, shape, cap and aroma as one of my "picks"' a RyJ Coronita en Cedro, at this point I would guess they are the same. The unlabeled cigar is so slightly different in color I'd guess they may have come from different boxes.
Lights well, burning straight, cedar (duh) leather, smooth draw for a stick this firm, medium/full body, smoke is creamy and follows with pepper on the exhale. White/gray ash holding well past the 1" mark. Picked up a floral note on the front end, pepper is fading still creamy smoke, nudged the white/gray layered ash off around 2". Midway the pepper is still around but leather is leading, creamy seem about gone, cedar has stayed through out. Even with a few hard spots it's managed to burn straight and the times it went wonky it self corrected in 2-4puffs. A very well made cigar that died on the point of my drafting compass.

Here's my review of Kombat's unbanded cigar:

This was a 6” x 50 toro with a very dark brown maduro wrapper around similar colored fillers. The wrapper was dotted with small teeth, giving it a dull sandpaper-like quality. It was solid with a slight give. There was an underlying stem that ran the length of the stick. There was a mild sweet chocolaty tobacco fragrance with a pre-light taste of sweet dried fruit. The pre-light draw was a little tight. Paired with iced water. Total time was an hour and fifteen minutes.

The first puffs tasted of leather, sweet tobacco and light wood. After about half an inch, an herbal flavor appeared with some cocoa. The resting smoke was a pleasant sweet smelling tobacco. I noticed an unusual sweet vinyl-like flavor on the finish of a retrohale for a few puffs.

During the second third on the finish through the nose, I sensed a salty peaty flavor that reminded me of a single malt Islay scotch. The primary flavors remained leather, sweet tobacco, cocoa and light wood. This changed to a sweet herbal earthy blend. A few puffs finished with a licorice-like taste that reminded me of Beemans gum.

On the final third, leather returned to join the herbal sweetness. Swishing the smoke in the mouth, I noticed a slight burning sensation. The strength picked up some and got to about medium. An herbal, minty veggie flavor with a light wood dominated to the end.

The cigar started with a wavy burn but straightened out after an inch. There was a moist oily sheen along the burn line. The draw was slightly tight, but the cigar produced a good amount of smoke. The ash was a solid light gray that hung on for more than an inch before being tapped off. My gray tiger cat must have liked the cigar, since he sat with me for the first half. This cigar seemed familiar, reminding me of an Oliva V maduro.
