Hey ya'all, I've started making table clocks out of wooden slide cigar boxes. I need to re-stock my coffers. I'm willing to throw some sticks your way for boxes of any size. I'm not really looking for "regular" cigar boxes, gotta be the wood slide tops.

Honestly boys, I needs as many as I can get. I've made 2 clocks so far and I've become addicted to it. I'm actually pretty good at it to. I've made one out of an Espinosa Proxy box and a Gurkha Evil box and they've come out awesome. Haven't tried to sell then yet, but it's giving me something to do. I haven't actually created anything in a while. Being a disabled Veteran and stuck at home gives me a lot of free time. I'd rather make something then do the damned dishes (glad the wife isn't in this forum). I can pay with cigars, I don't have a lot but I can make it worth everyone's while. I don't want ya'all getting stuck with shipping costs either, so I'd like to work something out. If anyone is interested, I'll be selling them for around $25, depends on the rarity of the box. I'd post a couple of pics, but I don't know who to do it yet.

I probably have a dozen or more SLB's that I was going to pitch. Send a PM if you want them.

Check your local B&M for empty boxes. Some places give them away, others sell for a buck or two. Think they even sell them on the Bid here.

Man I just threw out 150 boxes or so and there were probably at least 25 SLB's in there!

Check with your local shpo, most will give away or at least sell you boxes for a buck a piece.

I have a few, but they're still sealed and don't plan to open them for a long while.

Only one local shop, and he's being stingy as hell.

I took his ass one tonight. He looked at it like it wouldn't sell (was made from a Gurkha Evil box). I'm betting it will sell in less then a week.

Do you sell online? Any place we can see the finished clocks?

Once I get about 5 made, I will be selling online. I'll let everyone know where to get them. The one's make from the slider boxes are for tabletops, I'm planning on making some from "regular" boxes to hang on the wall.

That one is VERY nice. I like sticking with boxes that are a little more "rustic". If I came across a box that nice, I'd I have put a little extra time/expense into it. The work has to match the box.
