As defined in the American Heritage Dictionary:

CAP: A usually soft and close fitting head covering, either brimless or with a visor.

HAT: A covering for the head, esp. one with a shaped crown and brim.

Any questions? Good! LOL!!!

Now back to our regularly scheduled programing, heheheeee.

I just blanket them all with "Hat". Is that wrong of me?

Perhaps I'll call them 'Cranial Accessories' from now on.

so when you enter "baseball hat" in google a million HAT hits dont come up. a place called MLBHATS.com for one? those players are gonna start looking funny in SF when they start wearing HATS as defined and not sold that look like a fishing hat running around the bases.

I think Knof is off on a tangent again like the difference between a pistashio and a Nut. One is not the other 🙂

I am thinking he feels the need to stress that baseball players were caps and not hats cause some northern , midwest dude says there is no difference (again) and they are referred to as the same.

I might be going out on a limb here. Possibly someone might have even SENT him a HAT as an example. again, i am not to sure. Just trying to follow the way his mind works 🙂

let me go get my HAT on , its time to leave....

whats next? Sneakers are NOT tennis shoes? lololol

Even though caps and hats are both headwear, they are NOT the same thing anymore than Churchills and Robustos aren't the same thing, even though both are cigars ... irrespective of common mis-usage or whether Google takes you to a wrong result on a search

Hey Lukin? Shouldn't that be "bust" not "put"?

Banger - "I'll put a cap in your a$$"

Victim - "Why? Is my a$$ leaking?"
