I resisted buying this one because CI sold it in boxes of 40. Even though the "per cigar" price was a little over $2.00, the fact that you had to buy so many to get this price started waving red flags in my mind. USUALLY, when this is the case, they are dog rockets and you have to buy them in quantities of 40 or 50 because they want to get them out of their inventory ASAP. So I waited. Finally C-bid began offering them in fivers, so I bid on some of them and won a few. Let me say that this is one of the nicest stogies I have ever smoked. No, it is not a Padron, an Ashton or a Fuente, but it is a damn nice cigar. Easy light up, no construction issues, an even burn, firm ash and a nice woodsy, slightly complex taste. It's mild to medium so if you like strong cigars, you probably won't like it. On the other hand, if you're looking for something to smoke at times when you don't want to smoke one of those super-premiums that you have aging in your humidor, you could do a hell of a lot worse than this puppy. It's a figuarado and lasts about an hour and a half, depending on how fast you smoke stogies.
I now buy them by the box from C-bid when they are available. 🇨🇮
