First in many years.

Same industry, often in my field experience matters but since I'm a fog and interviewing with younger Management, I have a concern.

I know what I bring to the table, they know too as I have been vetted through three telephone interviews, however should I lose or leave the mostly great beard?

IMO, lose it.

What industry? Got to know if it will matter...

(can almost never go wrong clean shaven)

^ Manufacturing and I wear suit, tie everyday.

Expensive goods and services including product knowledge seminars, sales training and events in small/large groups. Much one on one meetings.

I'll see if I have a picture.

No picture needed. The fact that you are merely mulling it over is enough to convince me to advise you should shave.

Ha, I don't disagree, I'm asking because my friends and family are 50/50!

Everyone says it's looks good, I haven't had a full beard since the 70's, wore a van**** the last 6 years and grew the beard for No Mowvember.

Think I'll take it off now and see how it looks, interview is two weeks out so I can get it back.

Happy trails!

Ran upstairs and trimmed it close, bride got mad, she thinks it gives me a hip yet distinguished look.

Dang, usually I make up my mind and run with it.

I have a beard. I would neatly trim it. But be yourself because if you can't you will not be happy in the end. Also they really deserve to know who you really are.. I think my beard looks sophisticated when trimmed. Quite frankly i am not cutting it off for anyone..

Clean shaven is the way to go. No tight hipster shave.

based on the mix of opinions here and among family and friends, my guess is that's what you'll run into from interviewers too...a mix of how they feel individually.

Any shot you can find out what he/she/they may look like?

If your wearing red and black lumberjack flannel, heavy rimmed black glasses, slicked hair, cuffed jeans, doc Martin boots, and plan on sipping hard cider during the interview to sell high end home furnishings to a mostly "artsy" community, then by all means, rock the beard.

Shave the "hipster beard" as I think it will make you look like you are trying to look younger.

Legs, pits and nuts should also not be shaved. [sarcasm]

Not so much a younger but relevant.

I know a couple of younger guys that work in different divisions that have beards...

Frank, she is 37-45, she is relativly new to the company.

My friend heard her say someting similar to this----Be who you are, if you’re true to your beliefs,-----you’ll and be successful

I may have to let it fill back in! I know what I bring, her underlings know too or I wouldnt be meeting with her.

So you're saying she doesn't have a beard?:-k 🤔

Personally, I'd recommend shaving, but if having a beard costs you a job, did you really want the job in the first place? 🤐 🤐

Don't listen to Buckwheat, always shave the nuts. There might be a hot young broad interviewer that needs convincing. Good luck.

Navy - no beards. Corrections - no beards.

I had a mustache from the time I was 16 until a few years ago. Shaved it for whatever reason and the ladies went nuts.

Apparently, I look younger and handsomer (as if that were possible) clean shaven.

Shave it off. If it's no bueno... grow it back.
