Im all for it Steve.

SJ Giants Home opener was last night against the Modesto Nuts, first of a 4 game set. They have a game tomorrow at 5:00.

Spent a large part of my younger years at 'Ol San Jose Municpal Stadium. Watched the likes of George Brett, and Frank White back in the day. Was a bat boy there for two years, 79 and 80. Hung out with Dave Henderson and Bud Black. It was built in the 20's by the way (not Bud Black, the stadium). Babe Ruth played an exibition game there. AND...as to not jack this thread...is right down the street from the now infamous Wendys, home of Digit Chili!

Man ... doncha just wish we could spark one up while watching a game there ?? ...

^ I do not recall at the time any of them having a salad bar,but maybe Wendy's did. They got the Idea from the Burger Shef. I was an employee then and do not recall any Company having a salad bar.

good Day!!

Is Burger Shef a nationwide fast food chain?

Wendy's lays claim to be the first fast food chain to have the drive up window, the baked potato, and the salad bar in a nationwide fast food chain.

If anyone feels any different then take it up with them.

>I bet Im one of the only ones on this board that can say they actually have eating at that Wendys.

And one more chimes in...

I live in the Evergreen area. I don't get out much any more, but that's just a few miles from home, and I've eaten there many times.

Can't say I've tried the finger sandwiches:-)

Hey BottomFeeder,

How much do you want to bet?

Being in the Bay Area as well as others on the board that have already commented that they too have eaten there, I have been in that Wendys once. College football oreinted, LOL! Go Dogs!!!

Read the above threads and you'll read TrannyMk and SteveS are others who have eaten there.

I though KFC was finger licking good...

The Chili at Wendy's has a familiar flavor. It's something I've tasted before, but I just can't put my finger on it...

The Chili at Wendy's is good. I really Dig it.

Sorry for the lame jokes. I just made them up, although I'm sure close approximations have been heard. Except for the last one.
