I'm not sure this is in the correct category, my first post. . . So this is a late 1800's McCray Ice Box that has been converted into a humidor. This was originally used as a fridge when Ice was put in the side to keep things cool. It has not been restored but is rather in excellent original condition. The inside has been lined with Spanish Cedar and has custom made Spanish Cedar shelving. The doors have acid etched cigar logos on them. The top has been removed and put on a hinge and works as storage for your favorite cigar related items. It is huge, I usually have about 20 boxes of Tatuaje, Viaje, La Palina and Illusione Cigars in it. . Ages really well! It's about 50 inches tall, 36 inches wide and 24 inches deep. . . weighs about 10000 pounds (guessing 200 lbs for real, but is heavy). Was converted in the 70's when the original ice box was purchased out of a customers home. I thought I would post some pics and see what response I get or if anyone may be interested in taking it off of my hands. A stock McCray ice box is worth between 2-5000 depending on condition from I can find online. . Make me an offer if someone is interested. I am in Phx and it is too hot during the summer to keep cigars in it (about 80-82 inside during the day) so I use a couple wineadors. I love this thing, but isn't really used anymore since my wineadors keep things nice and cool. Any who, here are some pics. Let me know what ya'll think! I have many more pics!

Hahaha right??? Who woulda thought, lol. I have never had an issue with them being too hot. . I've read about beetles and when I had an opportunity to try a wineador I jumped on it. . And there is just something about grabbing a cigar that is 65 degrees lol, plus the piece of mind I guess. So i just don't use it. I still have some in it occasionally, my overflow lol and keep all my ashtrays and lighters and what not, but its just a show cabinet and someone should use it instead.
