It's a shame but there are some people who post up on just about every thread but either make asinine comments that don't contribute or have nothing to do with the subject matter (...threadjacking at it's finest...). Doesn't help that their use of the English language is lacking with horrible spelling, grammar and diction. From a 1st grader, sure but from an adult? 🤦 Not that I'm perfect but at least I try to write something that people can understand. Getting to the point where I see a name as the last poster and I don't want to click on the thread.
The CBid forum sure ain't as fun and informative as it used to be....
Okay, rant over.

But as far as the forum not being as "helpful and informative" as it use to be, I think that is really a perception thing. When we first come to the site as noobs, a lot of us have the same questions(some are smart enough to use search, but I digress). The site is really helpful at that point as there is a lot of information, and a lot of it is covered repeatedly. However, after a while and you've picked up the things you are comfortable with, there is just not as much "new" to learn.
Yes, its nice to see others opinions on new cigars, but lets face it, those of us who stick around are probably going to get our hands on them and form our own opinions any way. We're fanatics.
I belong to a sports message board, and 75% there are never happy with this player, or that player or the coach. All they do is b1tch and complain. Yet we all keep going back to see it as we are fanatics. Just the way it is.
So, I say, more cello on/off and winter smoke threads!!!!
And I still think kitty litter works just fine. . . 🍺 🍺
