How many do you have on a keychain for which you have no idea what they are for, but you are too afraid to throw them out?

We left a basket full of keys when we sold our house. Haven't needed one of them.

1 key, that's all I need to drive. No house key, no new key (get it??) no work keys.

I know what all keys I carry open, nothing extra or unknown. I'm not an orderly sort, but my wallet and key are an exception.

I do have a box of locks and keys I have collected over the years.

Used to, but when we moved into this house, I said I'd hold onto it for 5 years and set aside any key I used in that time.

Saved 3, tossed about 20.

I've got about 10 pounds of keys in a bucket. And over 20 padlocks.

Every now and then I find a match.

My key rings have the key and the auto lock thingy. One of them has the mailbox key.

That's it.

Work I have 5 keys and I know what they all go to. Those keys stay in my locker when I am not at work.

My work keys have at least two from the previous teacher in that room that nobody knows what they go to but they have to stay on the ring. Go figure.

I had a bunch of keys but when I bought a new car I decided it was time to start over. Threw out a bunch and only kept 3; car key, house key, and sisters house key. So much nicer to have a key ring with limited amount of keys.

car key is a fob thing... 1 key for home.. 1 key for my desk.. 2 keys for work doors.. and that's all I need... 😟

I carry as few as possible: car key, building fob & office key.

Fob. No keys on it. Work is an id/proximity card. Home is the garage door opener or key pad on the front door.

I do not carry 1 traditional key.

Except when I drive the racing van, then I have 1 key.

The # would be zero. I'm pretty OCD on getting rid of keys that I don't need any more. 🌫

My keychain has the following on it:

Fob/Key for the car (new car is keyless - which kind of sucks)

House Key

Work Key

Pill holder for daily meds

Pink Streamlignt Nano flashlight (best EDC light that I've found for the money)

Swiss Army Minichamp pocket knife (best EDC knife that I've found for the money)

TEC T3 Tritium Fob (helps if you drop your keys in the dark)

With all of the things attached to the keychain with Mcgizmo Pico Clips
