Who cares about Abrignac's foo-foo cocktail drinks with fancy umbrellas and plastic swords holding fruit garnishes.
Am a big fan of "The Best Bars in America" and "Brew Dogs" showing on the Esquire channel.
Barrel-aged brews seem to be gaining popularity - including use of bourbon, rum, and even wine barrels. A a result there seems to be a trend evolving using craft brews in cocktails. Their Mint Julep brew is interesting.
This was one of many cocktails highlighted for you Big Lebowski fans.
The Big Lebrewski
1oz single-barrel Bourbon
(best if the same bourbon barrel the brew was aged in)
1oz aged Rum
1 jigger Imperial Coffee Stout
1oz heavy cream
shaken - not stirred
A different twist on the Caucasian.
