I like the way they ripped off Makers Mark's red wax seal. Smoke cigars and drink rum; the only way the two should be together. [ram27bat]

Actually there is no real gurkha facility like drew estate or padron or cao they have other places make them then label them most likely they are a exactly the same as makers mark and came directly out of there facility then like usual they thro a gurkha label on it and it magically becomes different and better ill keep spending my money on Padrons ant other good ones out there let me know so i can try

I ashed the lighter colored one tonight. Surprisingly good. Held a good ash, no bitterness, no bad surprise on relight, it did not explode, and it had some diverse flavors. Since I have no idea what the Ecuador rum tasted like in the bottle, all I can say is it must have an interesting flavor. Me and a few friends picked up nuances of Chocolate, Grape, and Coconut.

I give it a 4 out of 5, good solid smooth smoke, a bit loose on the draw for my liking, one of the better Gurkhas I have ever tried, glad the crew wont get any of these for a while, they would toss the others.

Not a bad pre release.

As usual, three of the fiver are destined to land on deserving doorsteps. The last one I'll save for 10 years.

Now to wash my mouth out with bleach and go to confession 🙏 since it is Sunday. [sarcasm]

Gurkah haters are going to hate.

Gurkha has no factory? Imagine that. Thanks for the great information, I never would have known. Who actually produces Gurkha and what factory do they come from? I like that such expensive cigars can be bought here for a very reasonable price.
