No there's something wrong with a&e for canceling the show because it didn't fit in their desired age demographic. Thanks to Netflix for picking it back up. No spoiler but season 3 ends on a huge cliff hanger and a&e was just gonna leave it at that.

Big fan, been watching for a while.....after season two came out and I couldn"t wait for the next episode my son would find it (and a few others) out on the net and load them for me. Didn"t realize A&E had cancelled the series [ram27bat]

The author Craig Johnson lives about an hour from my moms place in Wyoming. I'm gonna drive her to Wyoming next weekend, and we have the latest Longmire book on tape to listen to. We talked to him at a book signing last summer Nice guy.

I think it was A&E's top rated show, but the demographic was considered old.... 😣

Yeah, can you imagine just pulling the plug on your top rated show because of that?

Here I thought they were in the business of getting ratings...not killing them.

Oh well, here's to Netflix saving the day of another great show!

Netflix is on fire and really paving the way for customers. The "Big 3" have let everyone down. The cable networks are now too by cancelling shows like Longmire, Arrested Development and The Killing. Netflix is smart enough to grab ratings winners and building their own stable with fan favorites...House of Cards, Orange is the new Black, The Fall, Frankie and Grace...on fire. Good bye commercials and good bye crappy reality ****.

Pulled the plug on cable and satellite years ago and will never go back. I bet I haven't watched a show at it's regular "scheduled" time in 7-8 years. Not to mention...commercials? No.....the few times I do watch regular tv now, it's almost unwatchable because of the interruptions. I hate it.
