Ok you auto geeks, 2004 Envoy had system flushed & still have issue with temperature climbing very high when running a/c unit is on for about 15 minutes. This morning shot up to 260. 😨

Normal temp when a/c unit isn't running.

can be many things.....unfortunately

thermostat? did it get replaced when flushing radiator?

fan clutch

electronics controlling fan clutch

that's where I'd start

But seriously.

The condenser is in front of the radiator adding heat. If you have insufficient air movement (fan not coming on, fan guard not intact, rad fins plugged) you'll get hot. Or if you have insufficient coolant flow, you'll get hot. (Thermostat, kinked hose, plugged radiator passages, bad water pump)

It could also be the ball bearings I suppose.

Spray the radiator and auxiliary coolers with cleaner/degreaser like simple green, let it sit for 15-20 min, then wash with a sprayer nozzle from the engine compartment side.

Also check fan viscous clutch, coolant additive ratio and thermostat.

Last is water pump, but unlikely that would fall from a coolant flush
