Unfortunately, I guess no one told her that blacks had been owning other blacks as slaves since the late 1600s. Even up until the conclusion of the Civil War. In some places, like New Orleans, black slave owners were something like 30% of the population (although I think the actual number was about 5% across the South).
And no, these were actual slave-holders. Not people buying the freedom of their relatives.

Oh, and the obliteration of the Huron? That came at the hands of the Iroquois. Likewise, it was the Iroquois that displaced the Algonquin from their native Delaware area, and fled to live among the Huron. Because if they stayed, they would have faced obliteration.

I usually try to stay completely out of the political forums, and with good reason, people can misread what I say. well with that said;

This incident as with so many in the past year are the very reason I was hoping to be sailing into a hail of gunfire in the Southern Seas because I seriously did not want to witness the collapse of society in America. I have seen it coming for a while, and it just tears the heart right out of me.

Whether at home or abroad I try my best to help people regardless of their DNA, Politics, stupid behavior.

We use to, as a people in this country, may be not our Government, but us regular folk, use to try and be the best we could be. We were infiltrated as promised by I believe it was Kruschiev, possibly Stalin and they managed through using quaint terms to infiltrate our centers of learning and turn them against traditional morals, and traditional American values.

The problem is actually bigger than this, it was inevitable, it was predicted, and it is as old as mans history on this planet. It has been euphamized and satirized and prophesied in even our recent movies like Star Wars and Star Trek. The dark side (evil not skin color) is taken over the hearts of man. Star Trek seems to think we will live through this and come out better on the other end, From what Iam witnessing around the world, that is not being reported on the National News, and I have spent 36 years going into disasters and wars, we as the human race are coming to a point of self destruction.

One of the cool things about this forum is you cannot see the face of the person on the other end. You communicate, you send cigars, you have a good time. Shame we have to let our eyes screw things up offline.

We all know people are acting the fool out there on the streets. It is going to get a whole lot worse before it gets better, if it ever gets better after the past 30 years, but especially after the last 6. All of this is intentional, it is planned, and the bad guys will win if we do not see the setup. Dont let the outsiders problems stop us from our intended missions, trading cigars, slapping backs, and sharing a toast with each other.
