Half the fun of the shows was the party in the parking lots! Once took a train from Philly to Washington, DC to see Dylan, Petty, and the Dead. Amtrak put all the Deadheads in the 2 rear cars. People where trying to sleep in the overhead luggage racks. Fortunately we had 1st-Class tckets with full-reclining leather seats. Still lost my job over seeing that show. But a fun road-trip nonetheless.

Walked a couple miles and stood for 5 hours. Swollen ankles and sore feet on this old man.

Great fun to people watch and reminisce.

First set was oldies second set was newer then back to oldies.

Watched through binoculars, smoke in the air all night. Some got into my lungs

Sound was good, I was straight across, 100 yards. Live in a stadium good is a relative term lose so much detail. Or it's my hearing!

Started about 730 two breaks and on till 1230ish....
