Old styrofoam coolers? If you are somewhere that does grocery delivery they generate a lot of excess usually at the receiving end like a condo resort. since they are bigger you would need less. Also sheets of styrofoam insulation could be cut with a hot wire and make lots of bricks. If you just want it to be difficult to get to the desk, how about using pvc 3/4 " pipes and weave a wall of them like in an old 3 stooges movie. If you dont use cement, you can reuse or return PVC after the prank.

Dig a trench around his desk. Fill it with gasoline.

And in each one of his desk drawers hide a crocodile, under a peice of paper.

I like the drywall idea. He'll be gone for a couple weeks so I could theoretically do a proper job with it.... framing and everything (at least in some manner that will allow me to get it into the trailer space).... If I drywall I wouldn't even bother with the brick facade... I'd just leave it that way. But drywall becomes a big disposal problem after the joke. Bricks... well that's a bit of a disposal problem as well, but maybe not as bad.

If you use real bricks you can build a BBQ pit when you're done.... 👍
