So that's why he was in the hospital today.

That's funny!
I wish that was the reason. I had another obstructive kidney stone. My doc had to scope me and remove it.

That sucks!! Had kidney stones a few years ago, worst pain I've ever experienced brought to my knees and screaming like a little girl lol. They had to use the scope and put a stint in for a few weeks.
Get well soon Bro !!
wheel,
Damm, that process itself isn't pleasant let alone the stones!

No it's not. Once complete, a stent gets left behind otherwise inflammation causes the ureter tube swells shut. Urinary tract stents are absolutely no fun. Fortunately, I was put to sleep.

Hopefully your Dicck Doc is a hot young broad...
At least I had the general problem area right. I hope this is the last time you get stoned, Anthony.
Funny chit. Thanks for the laugh Tony.
Anthony,
Actually a retired Air Force Urologist who happens to be a black man. I wish all of my doctors were like him. I've met few doctors who care as much for his patients as he does. He's been treating me for stones since I got my first one.
If one of his patients call after hours, there is an option to talk to an operator who will patch you over to him.
Yesterday morning I got to work about 4:45 AM. When I walked in the stone started moving. So I told my supervisor I was going to drive myself to the hospital. The main ER in town usually has a 2-3 hour wait. So I passed it up in favor of a smaller satellite ER of the same hospital system that is much closer to my house. But, I turned around and went back to the other hospital because I remembered that the smaller hospital is really only an ER and satellite doctor offices.
I called his office and talked to the operator. Doc called me back from his un-blocked cell. I told him my concerns about the wait. He told me that if they were backed up to call him back and he would call the ER doctor and tell him to get me in a bed. But, the sun, the moon and the stars were all lined up because there was no line waiting to check in and no one in the waiting room waiting for a bed.
I was in a bed within 10 minutes after I arrived. They shot me up with Dilaudid all day until Doc was able to get there and get me into the OR.
I suggest anyone who is not feeling well give Anth a call...in no time you will feel fantastic compared to this guy!
But seriously, hope you recover quickly and life starts treating you better brother. And thanks for the call.
Frank
Prayers Brother...
