Tail

Quit making things up I have read the wells report and I'm also the one that guided you to other source documentation if you remember you were the one that was going to the press rather than the source documents not me

I never read Morts report and it doesn't influence me one way or another in the NFL wasn't using Morts report to take action the big beef with the NFL is that they didn't dispute it when supposedly they knew better

You have a bad habit of making up things that people said or did and are doing with that rather than responding to what they've actually said or done

And you are acting like a typical patriots fan

Morts report and the outrage is a red herring. Maybe it's part of the pr War. That's it though and it's totally relevant To me and my opinion regardless of how sure you are of the things that frame my mind

That's also part of the problem there's the need to demonize the opponent by proclaiming what their intention is what they're thinking where they're getting their information anything to try to make the other side look like they don't know what they're talking about because the goal is to win

Irrelevant.

I don't blame you for supporting your team for being so immersed in your local media that you can't see what the rest the World Series I don't blame you one bit I probably would be too but to me I don't really care what happens with the patriots I don't hate them I don't like them I just looking at what's in front of me and I tend to go to source document rather than listening to ESPN Or anyone else I'm not like you

And Richard Sherman is right the penalty on Brady is too much but he is guilty from what I can see and does deserve some punishment particularly for arrogantly thumbing his nose at the league

As for proof there are still people that believe the reasoned decision doesn't prove Lance Armstrong was guilty but if you read the source document rather than listening to the sycophants on either side it's pretty clear that it all adds up guilty and it's pretty clear that Tom Brady wasn't clueless that all this was going on

You really have to stretch and make every single piece of it in a vacuum independent and not tied together and one picture to believe. And that is exactly what you are doing You want to believe and I don't blame you

Actually they were but I don't want to say why or I'll be judged.

Multiple posts aren't as bad as the translation etc. I know what it meant lol.

TW,

So you didn't use Mort's misinformation to form your opinion?

Then what did it?

Mort's proclamation that 11 of 12 balls were 2 psi low is the ONLY piece of information given to joe public for the four months leading up to the Well's report.

There was nothing else.

And "IF" the balls were deflated, then I agree that Brady would have known. But what I'm saying is that the balls have not been proven to be too low. If the NFL could prove that, then it wouldn't have been a weak "more probable than not" ruling that Brady knew "something".

And now it looks like the facts are bearing fruit.

The NFL is trying to distance themselves from the Well's report and claim the penalty was for lack of cooperation and a destroyed cell phone. Looks bad, sure, but considering life OUTSIDE a vacuum (as you claim to be) would tell any superstar to keep his private life out of the hands of the organization that allows lies to fester and can't be trusted.

So tell us. Where did you get your information that formed your opinion of Brady's guilt?

The rest of the world believed Mort and used his report to paint the picture that might never be undone in the public's eye. And since Belichick was directly dismissed by the Wells report, the guilty by association tag can't even be waived with any accuracy.

Share your secret stash of data so we can all learn a thing or two.

I tend to wait before determining guilt or innocence. In this case I drew my conclusion following the wells report and the subsequent follow up documents. I've been around the press long enough to avoid that mess.

I never drew a conclusion on the appropriateness of the punishment until very recently when I decided it's a bit much.

You assume way to much.

I shared my secret data (the source documents) when you insisted the nfl said it was ok to destroy his phone.

Honestly I've not paid much attention to the press on this. The official stuff is out there. The rest is conjecture.

Have you read the reasoned decision on Armstrong?

And just to stoke the multiple post outrage.....

I think Brady and company are likely guilty of a lot more things then they are being accused of ....,,

😎

Kidding aside I could actually be convinced of his innocence given compelling info. I've just not seen anything that compelling yet. i know you are convinced your scientists have proven things more than theirs but I disagree just as they do. If the right info came out I'd change my view. And admittedly I've changed my view of the punishment.

I don't think anything short of video showing tom deflating the footballs would convince you. And in that event you would require forensic evidence proving time, date and DNa samples showing it's not an imposter or doppelgänger. You are in love. It's cool.

I love how it's SO understandable that Brady didn't want to "give up his phone"......

The league said HIS GODDAMN L A W Y E R COULD JUST GIVE THE LEAGUE THE PERTINENT TEXTS/EMAILS.

What a fuggin joke the New England Cheaters and their fans are.

all this fun aside, as we head to court this is now about the NFLPA vs The Commish and just how much power he is given, and how to interpret his fairness in executing said power. It will not be as cut and dried as we laymen think we understand the language as it is written.

Unfortunately for Pats haters, the "Fairness" part may include looking into why certain evidence gathered by Wells (now known) was excluded from the Wells Report after NFL front office editing of it, why The Commish limited and deleted some of the witnesses Brady's side had lined up for his appeal, how to justify punishing for the phone destruction when Brady could not know ahead of time that it would be a punishable offense or at least what the punishment would be (no previous such punishments had ever been meted out)...

Unfortunately for the Brady side backers, there is a strong case allowing the Commish his power to do what he has done (other than play with allowable and not allowed evidence) based on the Basic Agreement.

So much has been said back and forth here and everywhere, all I want to add from a personal view is...what's the big deal about his phone? I ask because they had to already have his texts (if there even were any) made to the Pats ball boys because they had their phones! DUH!

So I predict the end result will be a settlement, Brady will accept a lesser punishment which may include game(s) for not cooperating, the league will drop it's demand that he admit guilt as they have been unable to prove the balls were actually deflated manually (I know haters hate this fact, but unbiased evidence would bear this out if it went to real court), and the Commish will retain his power albeit the appeals process will be reworded to exclude him from judging his own decisions a second time...that is not fairness.

One more pot stirrer...if Brady is an habitual ball deflating addict, why has no one else stepped up from his past to say he had them do it too, in nearly two decades in the NFL, four years of college, four years of High School, basically two and a half decades of being a control freak? People come out of the woods and gutters all the time when celebs are charged with stuff. But as big as this has grown...crickets.

not athletes Jamie. Where are all the student managers, all the ball boys, all the jealous little non-athletes that picked up towels and jocks in the locker room for nearly 30 years? Not one of these nerds was ever instructed to deflate by Brady?

This is hard to believe, given that he is a well known serial cheater. Not even one stepping up (even to lie) for a minute of fame?
