I agree w/Mr. TV. I'd love to party with those guys.

I'm with you MACS on everything except that stinker of a 70's show. Must bring up painful memories. LOL!

I even tried The Contender (boxing "reality") on Sunday & it just dragged on an on...

I'm convinced that Sylvester and Sugar Ray are mildly retarded.

Also saw Deadwood (great name for a retirement community) & wondered one thing? Have any of the characters ever uttered a complete declarative sentence without a Cxxxsucker or Fxxk?

Hard to believe that's how the west was won.

The Shield is my can't miss.

Mythbusters is good on Discovery.

I watched the first two seasons of Survivor, then realized if I wanted faux alliances, treachery, back stabbing and false promises, I can go to the office.

I hate reality Television especially American Idol. Good people with quality musicianship practice and play in skeezy bars all of their lives and never get noticed...some punks with nice haircuts get up and sing covers and suddenly they're famous...it doesn't add up. My brother, on the other hand, was in line at midnight to get Clay Aikens CD!!!! I think he or I is adopted.

MACS said..."Don't even get me started on Nanny 911 - I have never bothered to watch that show because the commercials make me want to beat the sh*t out of the parents of those little monsters. All those kids need is a good old fashioned ass-whoopin'. Thrice a day until they learn how to behave."

This show is a comeplete mystery to me...why would anyone want to watch a show that features screaming misbehaved children. I don't like it when I'm out at the grocery store, why would I be entertained by it through my television set?

I HATE Reality TV, and American Idol and the likes ... but the question remains ... does American Chopper fall into the same category? Just Curious, because I love watching that show . . . How about The World's Most Deadliest Job? Being a Former Fisherman, I find it fasinating, other than the fact for every five minutes of the show, equals five minutes of commercials . . .

I like the "reality" shows in general. I don't make a point to catch them every week but if ones on I'll usually watch it. I am a younger generation (27) so maybe that's why they suit me??

Rick if you want a good forensics type of show watch any of the CSI shows on CBS. I really like the Vegas and the Miami versions the best.

Reality tv stinks! Most good tv is on premium channels. The Soprano's , Dead like me,Carnival,Six feet under,Curb your enthusiasm,Arliss and a Showtime outer space show where Peter Weller continuoisly smokes cigars,The Simpsons, Family Guy,Reruns of King of Queens, Raymond,Will and Grace,The Odd couple, The Honeymooners and the Three Stooges.English shows Monty Python,Keeping up Appearances and Chef keep me happy.

From the Fall of the Roman Empire..."The most popular amusement was watching the gladiatorial combats in the Colosseum. These were attended by the poor, the rich, and frequently the emperor himself. As gladiators fought, vicious cries and curses were heard from the audience. One contest after another was staged in the course of a single day."

Anyone see the similarity here....?

Hey MACS

Your problem is that you have to smoke a bowl before you can even stomach that reality crap. Then you will understand these show's appeal.
