Maybe deflategate and the accusations and the rubbish printed by ESPN and the NFL is going to pay dividends this season.

One game down and the Big Ben is alluding to questionable tactics.

When the Steelers got called for a false start, the QB got upset.

“In my years of playing, a defensive (lineman) can’t bark stuff or move in the middle of a cadence,” Roethlisberger said. “The ref (Carl Cheffers) said he didn’t go in the neutral zone. I wasn’t arguing that part. I was arguing the fact he shifted in the middle of a cadence. I thought there was a rule against that. Maybe there isn’t, maybe it’s an unwritten rule, I don’t really know."

So the Pats may have broken what might be an unwritten rule?

Weird.

The Steelers scored a TD earlier in the game on a play when the Patriots did the same shift.

How come you didn't complain on that one?

Here's the best part:

“That’s what I was more upset about. We saw it on film that the Patriots do that. They jump or shift and slide, do stuff on the goal line knowing it’s an itchy-trigger-finger-type down.”

So you saw it on film.

And it still confused your offense?

Hey Ben.

Here's an unwritten rule:

No means NO.

Belichick is so much in the head of Tomlin that the Squeelers coach intimated that the Patriots had something to do with their radio issues in the first half, and in EVERY game he's coached at Gillette Stadium.

Maybe he didn't read the part about the league owning and operating the radio sets.

Or maybe he was unaware that the Patriots had issues as well.

Or that the league already issued a statement, taking ownership of the malfunction.

Or maybe he was simply trying to steer the questions away from their obvious mistakes by leaving Gronkowski uncovered on several plays. Something that no amount of radio frequency could fix.

You do realize that many teams have said that it happens on key plays repeatedly and that they suspect a signal jammer. One probably not owned by the league.

I keep telling myself, you're smarter than this.

The patriot fan way is what disturbs me... Pats played a good game, but instead of bragging about that TG brags about sleazy moves by his team... There's a true patriot fan for you...

Not "instead" of bragging.

In addition to it.

And it's called "beating them to the punch".

You don't think these issues would have stayed silent without my input, do you?

Yes. They were expected to win, and cheat.

So bravo to them for sticking to the script.

Oh.

We're back to the "many teams" mantra.

I suppose they'll remain unnamed.

For what it's worth, this is a common issue throughout the league.

Even in Pittsburgh. (gasp)

But only the losers tend to whine about it.

I don't recall any team beating the Patriots and then talking about them cheating.

Question for you:

Why would the Patriots also jam their own gear?

Or do you like to ignore that part of the reality because it doesn't fit your narrative?

Why did they block defenders using the call helmet until they were busted for spygate?

Why did a MAJORITY of the other teams?

That's how the vote went. More than half the teams were against a defensive call-helmet. More than half is a majority.

But you only care that the Patriots voted against it.

Par for the course.
