Found a NIB Rock River that looks identical to Operator model but has a CAR gas tube, like on the Ruger and M&P. Bit shorter so recoil may be more but lot more accurate and easier to add accessories to. $750 it's more than I wanted to spend but with a one inch MOA at 100 yards I had to have it.

Can't wait!

Thanks for the advice.

Nice!

Now you need a few thousand rounds of 5.56 ammunition.

Some Magpul magazines might be handy too.

Just got a Colt 6920 at the Wally World clearance.......$600. Great rifle, with optic 100yds no issue, probably comfortable to 200 if your not worried about 1 moa. Have had a Rock River Arms.....very good rifle, still upset I sold it.

I've literally put thousands upon thousands of rounds through the Colt's......mostly M-4's however, great weapon with a little TLC.However when I was still government contracting we carried Armalites........very impressive quality and few if any real issues.I worked for one private contractor that issued Bushmaster's.......I would not recommend them, especially if you plan on using it any self defense situation.3 of us picked up some aftermarket Sigs and gave them their trot line weights back.Wish I still had that Sig but it was a 2k weapon........nothing budget about it.

Ever since Remington, AKA Freedom Group, bought out Bushmaster they have turned to crap. The folks that used to run Bushmaster left and formed Windham Weaponry. I have no experience with Windham Weaponry, but I they are supposed to be good.

Go with the Colt after firing thousands of rounds through various Colts I've one problem with sand causing the bolt not to close.
