Just smoking my first Kristoff Ligero good construction and flavor, but a very minimal smoke output/volume. Is this a characteristic of this brand? Just wondering. Thanks

I don't remember lots of smoke just remember it being a very good smoke. I love the pigtail cap and shaggy foot. I wish more cigars were rolled this way.

Mine was a Kristoff criollo toro.

Edit* I'm sure mine put out plenty of smoke too but I just remember being impressed by the cigar overall. I need to buy more!

I've had every Rob in the 8 Rob Sampler, except the Kristoff Brittania Reserve Robusto.
I've also smoked many Ligero Maduros (Robs and short Robs)

Tons of smoke out of all of them.
What vitola are you smoking?

Ligero Maduro is pretty good and I always get plenty of smoke. Might just be that one is slighlty plugged.

Every Kristoff I have had put out plenty of smoke.

I've probably smoked 30-40 boxes of the Kristoff Ligero Maduros. I've had maybe half a dozen like the one you described and every time it was the first one of a new box that I smoked right after getting it from a B&M or online shop and it was over humidified. If you have others from the same place or box, just dry box one for a day and then it will smoke fine and produce a lot of smoke.

Lol Jamie. Kristoff Ligero Maduro was my go-to stick for many years. Still one of my faves but I haven't bought any in a year or so. I used to have a source to get them really cheap so that helped.

Pro, that must be it, first one of a ten pack, pretty fresh, I will let the others rest at 64% in my humi.

And it was the Ligero Criollo toro, with the shaggy foot. Like I said , great flavor and burn, just very little smoke.

Thanks for all the info

Dry boxing for 24-48 hours in a humidor for just that purpose works wonders. Have a box of the Corojos, little wet from the B&M and smoke production was a bit low.
